Concentrate on Content

I had a great time at the Enterprise Search Summit yesterday—it was a far higher turnout than last year, which shows you how hot enterprise search is getting. The topics seemed more advanced to me than in the past, with several tips in my presentation being mentioned in the keynote session and other earlier sessions, which is great. The word is getting out on search best practices and it is wonderful to see so many people talking about helping people find what they are looking for. My session, Concentrate on Content, explains how your site search engine is not always the thing to change—you need to make sure your content has what searchers are looking for.

Two Apperances on Tuesday

Coming up Tuesday, I am making two appearances—one in a free Webinar and one at the Enterprise Search Summit in New York.

At 4:45 pm at the Enterprise Search Summit, conference, I'll do a 30-minute session called Concentrate on Content. If you're frustrated with your site search results but you know your search technology is OK, you must get past blaming the search engine. Hear how to impose control on unruly content and get all the players to follow the rules.
